Choosing Colors

The most fun part of buying one of these art glass lighthouses may, for most people, be choosing the color combination they like best.

To that end, we will work toward making sure all available combinations will be shown here in representations, and when possible, with photographs of a past lighthouse of that coloration.

We use an Iridescent version of the glass which is impossible to represent photographically, so the nearest solid color will be shown below.

We use Spectrum Glass™ exclusively, so if you have access to the Spectrum glass website's catalog (pdf format), or even better, a local stained glass craft store that carries Spectrum Glass, then you can request a specific color by the ID that spectrum assigns to the color you'd like.

Please allow Tom Kenney to select for you the best color in glass stones at the base, since the quality control in manufacturing and supply of the beads is not at the same level as that of the glass that makes up the lighthouse itself. He characteristically chooses a similar color to the base, alternates light and dark, or uses clear stones to compliment the tower. See the photographs for examples.
